Lent and Easter with Pathfinder Church and the Northstowe Church Network

You are welcome and invited to join us as we spend time preparing and discerning during Lent, then retelling the story of Holy Week, through quiet prayer, outdoor trails, meals, and more, before gathering at sunrise on Easter Morning... then celebrating communion after breakfast in the school as we proclaim the good news that Christ Is Risen!

Getting ready for Lent
If you fancy something to read during Lent, why not visit the “Lent Library” at Pathfinder Church on Sunday? With suggestions for those of all ages. As always, we may not agree with everything they say but within their pages we might find something which encourages us on our journey with God. Please ask someone to use the church phone to take a photo of you with the book you’ve borrowed.
On Sundays, Pathfinder Church will be thinking about how discipleship is not just a solitary activity. Join us week by week as we explore how we worship, give, pray, share and commit. On Sunday 17th March, as a sign of our commitment, there is an opportunity to welcome people into membership for the first time (talk to Beth to find out more) and to formally join our denominational lists into a single Northstowe Church Network membership list  - ready to vote at the AGM on 14th April.

Meanwhile,  through Lent, Little Explorers will be focusing on the biblical stories. First, telling the story of Jesus’ time in the Wilderness, and then unpacking the events of Holy Week.
The Compline Community will continue to follow the lectionary readings as they pray with the Time To Pray App. Then, in Holy Week, they invite us all to join them at 8pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for special Holy Week Complines.
All through Holy Week, we invite you to not just join in with the special events from your regular worshiping community, but perhaps to try out something new from across the network.
